Paul Theakston - Managing Director, Black Sheep Brewery

The Theakston name has been synonymous with brewing for over five generations, with Paul having worked for the family firm - T&R Theakston, in its various guises, for almost 25 years. In 1992 he established Black Sheep Brewery, acquiring and converting premises in Masham, North Yorkshire into a traditional ale brewery. Today, the company employs over 90 people, has a turnover of over £14 million and produces over 65,000 barrels of quality ale per year.
