Gaynor became a household name as one of the Soap’s most popular characters.
She has proved herself a talented performer in a whole host of film, stage
and television roles, including the TV series Playing the Field and Fat Friends,
written by her mother Kay Mellor.
She wins the award for her outstanding contribution to the cultural life of the County.
