Sheila Miller - Yorkshire Unsung Hero 2002

Sheila has been a volunteer working in and around Leeds for the last 17 years. She works at St James Hospital in Leeds covering wards speaking to patients and staff on a one to one basis as a member of the Chaplaincy team. This is a very humberling experience as she often meets people at their lowest ebb. Sheila also work in the out patients department helping and supporting distressed patients and their relatives. Sheila also works at St Gemma Hospice to try and help those people who have terminal illness and to support their relatives at a time when they are vulnerable.
